The Aoki Group was founded in 2005 with the goal of developing new Asian concepts for the American and International market. The Group was founded by Kevin Aoki, who has over 20 years of experience in developing unique restaurant concepts.
Kevin’s entry into the business was at the knee of Rocky Aoki, who founded the world famous Benihana Restaurant chain. Originally with his father’s guidance, Kevin launched several successful restaurant concepts. Kevin is now setting out to pick up where his father has left off, by finding new and exciting ways to delight diners with innovative variations on Asian cuisine. With the proven success of Doraku, the Aoki Group is next launching Aoki, distinctive Japanese dining, with the first location opening Summer 2013, in Miami.
Blue Tree is a unique endeavor for the Aoki Group. The holistic industry is rapidly expanding and yearning for a community café that focuses on conscious consumption and supporting the local community. The Aoki Group has delivered that with Blue Tree Café, while staying true to the Aoki Group’s highest restaurant standards.
