Juliann Gigi – Brand Creator

A Holistic Health Consultant with a background in accounting and finance, Juliann’s dream is to share her journey and love of living a holistic lifestyle others.  Her motto is “be conscious” which transposes into all aspects of the Blue Tree Brand.  From making their own Raw Organic Almond milk and Kombucha, and purchasing produce from local farmers, to her quest to support the local community and reduce Blue Tree’s carbon footprint, she accepts nothing less than perfection in satisfying Blue Tree customers.  The brand is designed to grow and adapt with the community, and stays true by returning 5% of all profits back to local charitable causes.  As co-founder and Chairman of a non-profit education fund, she is no stranger to the notion that giving is more rewarding than receiving.  Juliann, along side Kevin Aoki, have designed a concept where customers can afford to eat and drink healthy, without breaking the bank….and hang out in a spot that is almost too good to share with others.

 

 Rowan M. Shifrin – Raw Food Chef

Long time L.A. transplant and N.Y. native Rowan Michael Shifrin is an artist by nature with a true passion for food, health, creativity and flavor. After moving back to New York in early 2009 he was given the opportunity with his family to open an all organic market/raw food cafe.  Something very rare in a small Long Island town over swamped with delis, bagel shops and pizza. Slowly it caught on and Rowan with his love, drive and creativity for all things food took this opportunity to develop some of the most divine raw food recipes which have created such a buzz Manhattanites are coming to this small cafe just to get a taste of his unique, healthy and delicious raw food delicacies.  Although raw foods are not a new thing and there are many versions out there. This small town guy has created some of the best around that is sure to punch you in the mouth with flavor.
